If you choose this option, you might consider holding a separate memorial service to allow family and friends to create a more personal farewell or tribute and we’re here to support you, offering as much or as little assistance as you need throughout the planning process.
The Unattended Direct Cremation allows Waters & Sons to manage every detail on your behalf during this challenging time. This includes organising all arrangements, covering third-party disbursement fees, handling necessary documentation, and taking care of crematorium fees.

Our Unattended Direct Cremation Includes
- Funeral Director’s professional services and advice (24 hours)
- Into care service /conveyance of your loved one *(within a 20 mile radius / within office hours 9am-4pm)
- Care and attention of your loved one until the day of the cremation
- The arrangements for the no service commital
- Coordination and submission of all relevant documentation and paperwork
- Provision of a suitable coffin
- Preparation and care of your loved one as deemed necessary and dressing in own clothing or a white gown if desired
- Southampton Crematorium Fee
- Provision of a hearse to take your loved one to the crematorium (locally)
- Provision of our staff on the day of the cremation
- Collection & Retention of cremated remain from crematorium
- Provision of personal items such as cards, photos and letters to be place with your loved one
- 2ft Artitfical Coffin Spray

- Mourners in attendance at the crematorium
- A service led by an officaint
- Visitation of your loved one at one of our Chapels of Rest
- Bringing your loved one into our care outside of office hours (Monday -Friday, 9am - 4pm)

Payment for this Unattended Direct Cremation is usually to be paid at the time of arrangement.
