Waters & Sons Funeral Directors have designed a traditional horse drawn funeral package that will provide a fitting tribute for your loved one so you don't have to worry.

Our Horse Drawn Funeral includes:

• Funeral Director’s professional services and advice (24 hours)
• Waters & Sons Funeral Directors funeral services and all arrangements for cremation services 
• Into care service / conveyance of your loved one within office hours *(within a 20 mile radius)
• The personal attention of your Arranger and Funeral Director throughout
• Preparation and care of your loved one as deemed necessary and dressed in own clothing or a white gown
• Hygenic Treatment (Embalming if required)
• Visitation of your loved one in our chapel of rest during office hours (Mon - Friday 9AM - 4PM)
• Provision of a light or dark oak coffin, fully lined and fitted.
• Provision of a Tradtional Horse Drawn Hearse with either two black or two white horses
• Provision of a team of 4 pallbearers
• Horse drawn may travel from family home locally to Southampton Crematorium or Wessex Vale Crematorium alternatively direct to your choosen Crematorium.
• 45-minute service at the crematorium
• Set up, receiving and collection of charitable donations on your behalf to charities of yours, or your loved one’s choice (as applicable) 
• Online tributes page on our website

• Crematorium Fee
• Celebrant or Minister Fee

Funeral Charges based on crematorium of your choice

Southampton Crematorium - Bassett (45 minute time slot) - £4,495.00

Wessex Vale Crematorium - Hedge End (45 minute time slot) ( Monday - Wednesday) - £4,695.00

Wessex Vale Crematorium - Hedge End (45 minute time slot) ( Thursday - Friday) - £4,795.00

Please Note:

Charges shown above are full inclusive of all services listed above, However if you do require a limosuine for immediate family please add £295 per Limosuine to above charges displayed.  Also, if we bring your loved one into our care outside of normal office hours then there will be a chargeable fee of £295.00

Payment policy for our Horse Drawn funeral 

At Waters & Sons we understand this is a extremeley difficult time in your lives not only emotionally but financially too.

We require 50% of all charges shown at the time of arrangment with the reminder paid 3 working days before the funeral service.
